PSA! I know it's getting cold out there for us Texans but please be careful with space heaters. They use a lot of power and can be hazardous if plugged into power strips or extension cords. Never use a power strip or outlet expander with a space heater and don't use extension cords unless absolutely necessary. If an extension cord must be used get the shortest possible preferably 12 or minimum 14 gauge extension cord and keep an eye on it to ensure its not causing an issue. If you smell something burning, check wherever your space heater is plugged in first. As always if you do have an electrical issue such as burned outlets or breakers tripping contact a licensed electrical contractor immediately.
Stay warm and be safe!
