I'm making a brand new mold of this old style sitting goose from 1986 for my friend Carl Franklin at Moonlight statuary. I'll take you all on a mold making journey with me as I document each process of this over the next several months into next spring. It's a great casting with some leftover old latex that I dug out. It's going to make a great mold I believe. I've started prep work before painting to fill any air bubbles ect, cracks, I'm going to fill in part of the deep undercuts between the bird and grass so there's no issues demolding.

My wife Jessica Erickson Crochet and I have been hard at it making geese and she's been crocheting all day and night to where her fingers go numb. Lately we've been asked for last minute geese orders and getting items by a certain date. We try to accommodate certain items but others are impossible to get done quickly. While we appreciate everyone that orders from us our order board is full and cannot take last minute orders that need done quickly for birthdays ect. We have also been having issues again with current and past customers not looking or responding to my messages that thier items are finished or other requests. We have a 72 HOUR POLICY that if you haven't responded or if you made arrangements to come pickup your items and don't show up within our agreed time or message me that your not coming your items go to the next customer on our list. Wasting our time not responding to messages basically bumps other customers waiting for thier items to farther out dates which could of been done sooner. I didn't want to make this post but I'm not a facebook messenger babysitter and not responding will get your order canceled so we can get other customers orders done in a timely manner. This is our side hustle business and not my full time gig so I've only got a few days week I work on concrete, I have a crazy work schedule as many of you know and I always respond to every message either here or my marketplace page unless it's a "Is this Available " which I don't respond to anymore. Again thanks for all our customers for supporting us!
