Project Spotlight 📚

VergesRome Architects delivered the Administration Office Renovations at Little Oak Middle School for the St. Tammany Parish School Board in Slidell, Louisiana. Completed in September 2024, the project reflects our commitment to creating functional, welcoming environments that support educators, staff, and students alike.

Fun Fact Friday 🇭🇷

In 2023, the President and First Lady of Croatia joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the new home of the Croatian American Society's cultural pavilion. The 9,000 SF center includes a grand hall, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, kitchens, and a bar designed to bring community together for generations to come.

As President Zoran Milanović shared during the opening: “Continue to nurture your culture and heritage, remain true to who you are.”

VergesRome Architects is honored to have helped bring this meaningful community space to life.

Located in the heart of Central City, the Allie Mae Williams Multi-Service Center serves as a hub for community support, education, health services, and neighborhood engagement in New Orleans.

VergesRome’s renovations modernized and expanded the campus while strengthening its connection to the surrounding neighborhood. Updates included roof and HVAC improvements to existing buildings, the addition of a new Head Start nursery facility, and the creation of the Central City Branch of the New Orleans Public Library, a modern space designed for collaboration, learning, and access to technology.

Fun Fact Friday 🍷 ⚜️

This modern wine cellar weaves a local story into the architecture of our client's home. Designed to hold exactly 504 bottles, it subtly nods to New Orleans’ iconic area code. Minimalist in form but rich in architectural detail, the cellar makes the space feel both intentional and unmistakably personal.
