At in Hampton Bays, a 100-foot glass wall opens the cedar-lined interior directly onto a stepped terrace and a 75-foot infinity pool overlooking Peconic Bay, blurring the boundaries between inside and out. Cedar runs unbroken from ceiling to soffit, carrying the same material logic across the threshold. The house itself sits low in the hillside, sited deliberately to protect a centuries-old sycamore, with a native meadow grass roof that reads as bluff when viewed from the approach.
