Working with reclaimed granite is a labor of love and care. Each piece has its own long history of wear. It is not a modern piece of granite or a concrete variation thereof. It is rarely uniform. Each piece is measured, sawn, chipped away to look homogenous and placed by machinery or by multiple persons. This process repeats, often with the same piece to ensure too much isn’t removed. The prize is hardscape that looks like it’s been there for generations, that will last for more generations. Truly something.
