Floriography Friday: I’m so excited to be growing Canterbury Bells for the first time this season! Named for their resemblance to the bells of Canterbury Cathedral, these blooms were once planted near homes as a symbol of protection and good fortune.

In the language of flowers, Canterbury Bells represent lasting devotion—a fitting meaning for a flower that takes two years to bloom.

I have a feeling every bouquet needs a few Canterbury Bells from now on.

Happy Memorial Day! Our flower stand is sold out for the holiday weekend thanks to the wonderful support at our event with .

There may be “gnome” more blooms at the stand this holiday weekend, but you can still find our bouquets at David & Mary's on Route 23 — or stop by next weekend for more freshly picked blooms from the garden!

I’m kind of at a loss for words when it comes to the magic that happened yesterday.

First, thank you to Christy P. Of Propagate Plant + Home for inviting me to your beautiful event. Despite the rain (and that tiny little puddle in your driveway 😉), the day could not have been more wonderful.

There was something so special about spending the day meeting and talking with so many incredible women. The conversations, the encouragement… it all felt so heartwarming and uplifting.

And to the women who continue to support me and this little venture of mine again and again — thank you. Seeing your faces, catching up, hearing your stories, and sharing this dream with you means more than I can say.

A little peek inside the magic of Propagate Plant + Home.

This space is full of creativity, plants, and the best smells — the kind of place you walk into and immediately want to stay awhile.

I’m so excited to be here today for their spring grand reopening from 10–3. If you haven’t been before, this is your sign to come over! The driveway has a gigantic puddle, but it’s safe to come on through!

Propogate Plant & Home reopens for the season tomorrow from 10–3, and I’ll be there with flowers!

Propagate Plant + Home is another woman-owned business and is such a gem. I’m so grateful to be included in their special day.

If you’re looking for something fun to do on this rainy weekend, come wander through the plants, shop local, and bring home a few plants and blooms. (3130 Bean Oller Road, Delaware)

One of my favorite things about this flower journey has been meeting other small business owners who pour their hearts into what they do.

The owner of Propagate Plant & Home has created such a beautiful, welcoming space for our community, and I’m honored she invited Humble Bee Flowers to be part of her season opening this Saturday from 10–3.

If you love plants, cozy spaces, supporting local businesses, or simply wandering somewhere lovely for awhile…you should absolutely make the trip.

I wish you could smell this. 💜

There is something special about small businesses that create spaces where people can gather, learn, laugh, and leave feeling inspired.

This Saturday, 5/23 from 10–3, Propagate Plant + Home is reopening for the season, and I’m so excited to be bringing flowers along for the celebration.

Stop by, support a wonderful local business, and maybe take home a bouquet while you’re there!
