Munio wasn't created because someone thought the world needed another piece of safety equipment.

It began here in Oklahoma after the tragic 2015 OSU Homecoming parade crash highlighted just how vulnerable a public gathering can become when a vehicle enters a crowd.

That tragedy inspired the pursuit of a better way to protect people gathering along temporary event routes.

Today, Munio's mobile vehicle barrier is **designed, fabricated, and assembled in Oklahoma.**

Our roots are here. So is our reason for doing what we do.

What happens to your safety investment after the event is over?

With a mobile, reusable system, the answer can be: **put it to work somewhere else.**

Munio barriers can be stored, transported, and deployed again for the next parade, festival, emergency response, road closure, or public gathering.

For municipalities and agencies managing limited resources, versatility matters.

Don't think about the cost for one weekend. Think about how many times the same system can protect your community.

When we talk about barriers, testing, engineering, and deployment, it's easy to focus on the equipment.

But the equipment isn't the point.

The family standing along a parade route is.

The volunteer working an intersection is.

The first responder managing an emergency scene is.

The crowd enjoying a community event is.

**That's who we're building for.**

Some deployments are on the calendar months in advance.

Others aren't.

A crash closes a roadway. An emergency creates a temporary perimeter. Traffic needs to be redirected. Access to an area needs to change quickly.

That's why mobility matters.

Munio can be transported and deployed without permanent installation, giving public safety teams another option when circumstances change quickly.

It may look simple. That's intentional.

The L-shaped sections at the heart of the Munio system connect to create a continuous, modular barrier that can be scaled for different roadway widths.

But the real story is what happens during impact. The system is engineered to use the vehicle’s own forward momentum as part of the process of arresting its movement.

Simple to deploy. Serious engineering behind it.

No drilling into pavement. No excavation. No permanent foundation.

Munio’s mobile vehicle barrier is designed to provide vehicle protection **without being permanently anchored to the roadway.**

That matters when you need to temporarily protect an intersection or event footprint—and then return that space to normal use when the job is done.

Set it up. Protect the space. Take it down.

Public safety doesn’t always require permanent infrastructure.

A “ROAD CLOSED” sign tells a driver where not to go.

A vehicle barrier helps make sure they can’t.

For parades, festivals, pedestrian zones, and other temporary closures, signage and traffic plans are important—but they don’t provide physical protection from a vehicle that enters the restricted area.

Munio adds that physical layer of protection while remaining mobile enough to remove and redeploy when the event is over.

**Because sometimes telling traffic to stop isn’t enough.**

Today it’s a downtown festival. Next month it’s a parade. Then an unexpected emergency closes a roadway across town.

Your safety equipment shouldn’t be limited to one location.

Munio’s modular vehicle barrier can be disassembled, transported, reconfigured, and deployed again—giving cities, counties, law enforcement, and other organizations a safety asset they can use wherever the next need arises.

**Protection that moves with the mission.**

Public safety is a team effort.

It takes law enforcement officers, emergency managers, public works crews, event organizers, volunteers, and community leaders all working together toward the same goal.

At Munio, we're proud to build equipment that supports the professionals who work every day to keep our communities safe.

Thank you to everyone who helps make public gatherings possible.

Innovation doesn't only come from Silicon Valley.

Sometimes it comes from solving a real problem in your own backyard.

Munio Technologies was founded in Oklahoma with one mission: develop a practical, mobile solution to help protect people from vehicle intrusions at public gatherings.

Today, that same Oklahoma-built innovation continues to help communities think differently about public safety.
