And we're back ! Decided to take a little vacation in ground level world to knock out this nice cedar 192ft² rebuild. As you remember, last time we were here the deck had to be pulled off the house to replace: 32' of sill and double rim joist in order to sister floor joist ends, replace subfloor, swap out the door, and install new flooring (water sure can be mean).

Hanging stairs and railings tomorrow, finishing up door trim and siding Friday. Then on to the next! As always, feel free to reach out for your home renovation needs - one call does it all!

This homeowner opted to paint the walls and ceiling to match when they decided on a color pattern, leaving this shower gut and insert completed. What started as a shower dungeon, opened up into a beautiful and bright shower with duel heads to ensure you never get that cold breeze. With a new stone threshold to close the gap and tie the new shower into the existing floor, we're happy that they're happy !

And in the deck corner, at a whopping 536ft². With a length of 44' by 13' wide and a record of one and done - we are officially cleaned off of this job site! After a year of planning and a couple of wonderful homeowners, its nice to have a beautiful finished product that will last for years to come!

As Murph from Home Alone once said "What a hole".

Demolition is complete - removing over 3" of mold out of the floor (the "mud pan" was done with stacking sheets of durarock instead of doing a true pan), rerouted the electrical, removed the wing walls, and now we're just awaiting the delivery of our pan (our walls are already on site). Can't wait to wrap this one up and be on to the next one!

Would anyone want some local, organic, rainbow colored chicken eggs for your kitchen or your pets - please reach on out ! We currently have about 30 dozen, pulling in anywhere from 12-20 eggs fresh daily. They are fertilized if you would like hatching options as well. We literally cannot eat enough of them to keep up at this rate.

This supports our homestead, helps to feed our 5 kiddos, feed our pets, and provides a better, richer egg with no garbage involved in the process of making it from the feed to your plate!

Good morning followers and supporters !

Today. We reach out a note that hits a little closer to our home(stead).
If we've been by, I'm sure you've met our boy - Björn. Well, he is a Bouvier des Flandres - a Belgian cattle dog which was almost extinct until a woman saved the breed prior to The great war, which they were used: on the front lines as bomb detection dogs, carry messages, and pull medical carts. They are a large breed doggo, hypoallergenic, loyal, and can be used versatile through multiple fields to include: farming and livestock, guardian and overwatch, service, co-pilots, and much much more.
Björn has been by my side now every day at every jobsite since 2024, covering 3 states and close to 200,000 miles. And now, there's 8 more of him - as we had puppies. There's 5 females (4 black, 1 brindle), 3 males (2 fawn, 1 black) who are looking for homes and families. Available to go home as early as 5/8 - reach out today !

We are excited to announce the signing of this deck rejuvenation project!

Our customer wanted to be involved and help out, so they're handling all their own demolition while we deal with the town getting proper permitting, at the same time as lining up our excavation guys to level and stone the entire area while our architect gets the print built.

We're completely eliminating the lower deck and migrating one set of stairs while expanding the top deck out to 12'. This will make the new deck just under 500ft² with all new structural framing and pressure treated decking, finished off with wooden balusters and top rail.

With this one being one we've worked with the homeowners for a whole year and it being right in our backyard - we're excited to get this underway and put another notch on our belt.
