i hate to admit but 8(!) months ago i replaced my dining table that was once in the center of my kitchen and replaced it with an island, and as much as i loved having a table in the kitchen i just really needed the additional 6ft of cabinet and countertop space more.
anyway, the part i hate to admit is that i’ve been looking at the back of particleboard SINCE and if you know me, you know that’s not my style lol
but tbh, i haven’t had the time or energy to put into it so i finally decided to at least commit to a 30 minute bandaid solution until im ready for the real project. i am by no means advertising to use peel and stick tiles for your island (especially as a non-renter) BUT to fix an eyesore at 11:30pm for $20… it’s not great but it’s really not terrible (for now) either!
or….am i just delusional and perhaps desperate for anything other than what it was? heheh who knows!!
