My heart is SO FULL from this weekend! Three very different events:
Vermilion Beach Market ahhh I don’t even know what to say about this. The most beautiful setting for a market, such cute other vendors, sunny skies & my trailer & plant bar were busy all weekend! So grateful to be part of it! Had me reconsidering my whole life (should I move to a cute little lake town?!) Also, had customers & friends come from PA to shop, help (and bring me more bags!) Will be daydreaming about this weekend for a while 🐚🐟☀️⛵️
My friend Katie is an elementary school teacher & also helps with Wander & Root in her spare time. She’s the best! Her school has a garden club and the kids held their first farmers market this weekend. They sold what they grew and also had other vendors come. The kids helped the vendors & learned about small business. The community SHOWED UP for this market. Katie & her helper almost sold out of plants! This is just such a cool idea & experience for the kids 💚💚💚
Finally, The Neighborhood Flea in Southside Works was yesterday. We spend a lot of Sundays here throughout our market season, and we genuinely LOVE being part of this one. It’s just such a GOOD market - amazing vendors, a fun crowd, the best location & organizers who put so much work into making it great every single month. Marissa represented Wander & Root yesterday and had an amazing day! 🪴💚
Three events, three completely different setups, in three different places and Wander & Root got to be at all of them.🥹 I’m feeling extra grateful for the people who help me make weekends like this possible and for every single person who stopped to shop with us. THANK YOU💚
