📢 NOW HIRING — ESTIMATOR / ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Macek Contracting, LLC is looking for a dependable, organized individual to join our growing residential remodeling company. This position may be part-time or full-time, depending on the right candidate’s experience and availability.
Responsibilities will include:
• Visiting potential projects and gathering accurate measurements
• Reviewing plans, photos, and customer project details
• Preparing material takeoffs and labor estimates
• Requesting and organizing supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Developing clear scopes of work and project budgets
• Following up on proposals and assisting with customer communication
• Helping schedule smaller remodeling projects
• Coordinating materials, employees, and subcontractors
• Monitoring project progress, labor hours, and job costs
• Assisting with change orders and project closeout
The ideal candidate will have experience in residential construction, remodeling, estimating, or project management. Strong knowledge of construction materials and the proper order of operations is important. Candidates should also be comfortable using a computer, communicating with homeowners, and keeping detailed records.
Requirements:
• Residential construction or remodeling experience
• Strong measuring and estimating abilities
• Organized and dependable
• Professional customer communication
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. The schedule can be discussed based on whether the position is part-time or full-time.
