The good and the bad..
Been a hellacious start to the season with weather swings and thunderstorms. Nature can be pretty unrelenting when trying to force plants to grow faster than their desired pacce but seeing this blue false indigo grown from seed finally bloom after 5 years is a great perspective 💚

Spring is here which means we are gearing up for our native plant seeding at Monarch Meadows! Join Lake St. Clair CISMA, Six Rivers Land Conservancy and Chesterfield Township as we work to seed the wetland pockets at Monarch Meadows as part of our larger Restoration project.

You can register on the Six Rivers website or through the QR code. We will have all necessary equipment, as well as food and drinks!

A big thank you to Consumers Energy, Selfridge Air Force and Selfridge Air National Guard for making this project possible.
