This is a sign that there is some 💦water intrusion somewhere above. You'll need to:
1. Diagnose🔎 where this water is coming from and repair the issue.
2. Figure out the extent of the damage.
3. Replace any materials that need to be replaced.🔨
4. Clean up any areas that can be cleaned.
5. Prime and paint. Apply any finishes to make the space look beautiful✨

Cheap builders will put in this MDF material instead of wood. It saves them money, but the moment water touches them they get chewed up and puffy like a soggy dog toy. Now it's your problem.🤢

💦This is why its so important to take care of leaks!! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure❗

😰Brutal to find this kind of damage when doing the 🚧 demo work. A roof leak and a toilet leak contributed to this mess! Significant structural damage under the house and to the subflooring. Act quickly when you find an issue like this. A small repair would have prevented a lot of this massive damage from persisting.

Don't worry though, we can fix it and make things look beautiful in the end✨
