An Important Update from Highgarden Roses

We are heartbroken to share that a devastating fire destroyed the owner’s home and caused significant damage to Highgarden’s outdoor nursery and rose inventory. Alongside this destruction, the owner and her family also suffered a profound personal loss.

Fortunately, some inventory survived, and many of Highgarden’s treasured mother plants remain intact. Their survival gives us hope that, with time and care, the nursery can be rebuilt.

All shipments are currently paused. Based on what we know today, we anticipate that shipping will resume in approximately six to eight months. This time will allow the owner the space she needs to grieve, recover from the immediate aftermath of the fire, propagate new plants, and gradually rebuild the nursery.

Customers with outstanding orders may keep their orders in place or cancel at any time before shipment for a full refund. No action is required from customers who wish to wait.

We understand that such a long delay may not work for everyone, and there is absolutely no pressure to keep an order open.

To everyone who has offered kindness, patience, and support during this extraordinarily difficult time, thank you. Highgarden Roses has always been rooted in a deep love of roses and the community surrounding them. Although the road ahead will be difficult, we remain hopeful that Highgarden will bloom again.

Important clarification regarding a circulating customer post

Several customers have contacted us regarding a post currently circulating in rose-related Facebook groups. Highgarden Roses normally does not discuss individual customer matters publicly. However, because the post portrays our business as taking payment and then providing neither the plants nor a resolution, we need to correct the record.

Before publishing that post, the customer submitted a warranty claim stating that she had already received four AUSjameson roses, planted them in July 2025, cared for them for approximately one year, and that two had failed. She requested replacement plants and submitted photographs in support of that claim.

The claim contained serious discrepancies:

The asserted receipt and planting history was inconsistent with our order and fulfillment records.
The photographs did not appear to be legitimate and were flagged by AI-image detection tools as potentially generated or altered.
Based on the customer’s own stated July 2025 planting date, the request was also outside our published 100-day warranty period.

For these reasons, we could not approve her request for free replacement roses.

The transaction was subsequently canceled, and the customer received a full refund.

We are attaching limited, redacted excerpts showing:

The public allegation that the roses were never received and no resolution was provided.
The earlier warranty claim stating that the roses had been planted in July 2025 and cared for throughout the following year.

All names and personal information have been removed. We have preserved the complete original correspondence, order history, submitted photographs and refund documentation.

Highgarden Roses honors legitimate claims submitted under our 100-day warranty. We cannot approve replacement requests when the claimed history and supporting documentation conflict with our records. We will not speculate publicly about the customer’s intent, but we will correct materially inaccurate statements that affect the reputation of our business.
