We visited one thrift store 3 times on Friday, but that wasn’t the plan.
Trip 1
Bryan went while I was at an appointment and he picked up the adorable wood monkey. He saw the paintings but didn’t want to commit until I had a chance to see them.
Trip 2
We went back together so I could look at the paintings. I loved them all and ended up getting 5 out of the 6. I also found the mirror, vintage recipe boxes, and a few pieces of jewelry. We were in a hurry to get Bryan across town so we packed up our haul and left.
Trip 3
I realized I forgot to buy the jewelry they set aside for me so I went back again after I dropped Bryan. I got the jewelry and then found the chairs.
It just goes to show that there’s always more in a thrift store than you realize. Always make a second (or third) pass to see what you missed.
