This kitchen turned out sharp. White cabinets, dark counters, and a layout that actually works. The space we had to work with was our biggest challenge on this one. we framed in a doorway at the end of the wall on the right and that allowed for an abundance and counterspace and as much functionality as possible.

Cutting the logs to run parallel with rafters and allow for a pocketed ridge beam is extremely crucial. Every piece gets positioned carefully to ensure a tight fit and proper pitch—good structure starts with getting these fundamentals right. It's a lot of coordination between the crew, but it's where everything comes together.
