Not every project story is about a brand-new renovation. Sometimes it’s about standing behind the work long after the project is complete.

About a year and a half ago, we completed this bathroom renovation. Recently, the homeowner noticed that some of the grout in the shower was beginning to chip and deteriorate. Rather than making assumptions, we took the time to investigate the issue, consult with the manufacturer, and determine the root cause.

After extensive research, it was determined that the grout had not been mixed properly during installation, which ultimately led to the failure. We are incredibly grateful to our client for their patience throughout the process while we worked to find the right answers.

Now that we know exactly what happened, we’re doing what we believe is the right thing to do—removing the affected materials and rebuilding the shower so it performs and looks the way it should.

At the end of the day, our reputation is built not only on the projects we complete, but on how we respond when challenges arise. We appreciate the trust our clients place in us, and we’re committed to making things right when needed.

We can’t wait to share the finished result once this shower is back to being as beautiful and functional as it was always intended to be.

Project Note: This bathroom was completed approximately 18 months ago, and the installation team involved with the original project is no longer affiliated with That Design Studio. While the cause was determined to be an installation-related issue, we remain committed to standing behind our projects and ensuring our clients receive the quality they expect.

Another exciting milestone at this kitchen renovation project in Lewes! The team from Classics is on site getting every detail measured and finalized for countertop fabrication. Precision at this stage is what helps create a flawless finished product, and we’re one step closer to seeing this kitchen come to life.

In just a little over a week, these countertops will be installed, and we can’t wait to see everything start coming together. The details are falling into place, and this transformation is about to take a big leap forward.

A quick update from our new construction project in Rehoboth Beach! 🔥

The custom panels are now installed on the Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer columns, and they look absolutely fantastic. One of the details we love most is how the panel design ties directly into the interior doors throughout the home, creating a seamless and intentional look from room to room.

It’s details like these that take a project from beautiful to exceptional. The consistency, craftsmanship, and attention to design make all the difference—and this kitchen is really starting to come together.
