🍂 Fall colors are showing up all around Reno and Sparks, and it's hard not to appreciate how beautiful our trees are this time of year!

But here's something worth thinking about: Just because a tree is green and looks healthy doesn't mean it doesn't need attention. 🌳

Before the fall colors arrived, we were working in a Sparks neighborhood near Los Altos, caring for established trees that have grown alongside the community.

It got us thinking about how much goes into professional tree care that homeowners don't always see. From knowing when a tree needs pruning to the safety precautions our crew takes, there's more to the job than simply cutting branches.

🌳 Monday morning, and we're aiming high!

Ever wonder why arborists throw a little weighted ball into a tree?

It's called a throwball, and it's one of the first steps in getting our climbing system set up. By carefully tossing it over the right branch, we can position a rope to access the tree safely and efficiently.

It may look like we're just tossing a ball around, but there's a whole lot of skill, precision, and planning behind that throw! 🎯
