3 years ago, during one of the most uncertain seasons of our business, I accepted an invitation to join Tapestry. Looking back, that simple invitation became one of the greatest gifts in my entrepreneurial journey.

As a small business owner, I learned from incredible women who shared not only their business wisdom, but also their faith, courage, and trust in God. Through conferences, conversations, prayers, and friendships, I gained encouragement that helped shape both my life and Transformed Tree Care.

One thing I loved most was Tapestry's heart for giving back. Whether supporting local nonprofits, women in recovery, or serving our community in practical ways, every gathering reminded me that business can be about so much more than business.

Last week I had the opportunity to create a table display that reflected who we are—rooted in Christ and rooted in our community. I also shared seed paper wildflowers for each woman to take home, a small reminder to keep growing in faith, family, friendships, and purpose.

I didn't realize this chapter was coming to a close, which made the evening even more meaningful.

To everyone who made Tapestry what it was—thank you. Thank you for the support, the prayers, the friendships, and the encouragement through every high and low. Your impact will continue to grow, just like the seeds you helped plant in so many lives. 💙🌱

Even on days when you don’t see us at a property, a lot of work is still happening behind the scenes.
This picture tells part of that story. After finishing a job yesterday, our truck left packed full — wood debris loaded up and our stump grinder ready for the next property. Tree care doesn’t stop when the cutting is done. Cleanup, hauling, maintenance, sharpening equipment, fueling up, and preparing safely for the next customer are all part of providing professional service.
One thing many homeowners don’t realize is how important stump grinding can be after a tree removal. A leftover stump may seem harmless at first, but over time it can:
🪾Become a tripping hazard
🪲Attract insects like ants or beetles
🦗tart decaying and creating soft spots in the yard
🏡Make mowing and landscaping frustrating
🌱Cause unwanted sprouts or regrowth

👀 As we were carefully removing some overgrown shrubs, one of the residents sat nearby, quietly watching the whole process unfold.You could tell it wasn’t just about the work being done—it was about seeing something being cared for. Every branch trimmed and every space cleared brought a little more light back into the area.
At one point, they smiled and said how much more open and peaceful it already felt.

Moments like that are a reminder… it’s not just landscaping—it’s creating spaces people truly live in and experience every day. 🌳
