First of all, THANK YOU.
Whether you've been buying flowers from us since year one or just recently found our page, we appreciate every single one of you. It’s wild to look back and see how far we've come from hunting down the tiniest vases we could find because we didn't have many flowers, to now being able to stock a Bloom Bar full of beautiful blooms.
Since sharing more about our story, we've gained almost 100 new followers, which honestly blows my mind. So for all the new faces, I thought I'd introduce myself!
Hi, I'm Courtney!
This is our 4th year growing cut flowers. I've always loved flowers, but the idea for our farm started after we accidentally stayed at a flower farm in a school bus for my daughter's second birthday. I came home inspired and thought growing flowers would be a fun little summer job since I'm also a 4th grade teacher.
Turns out... flowers don't exactly take the school year off. 🤣 Between seed starting, planting, harvesting, and all the behind-the-scenes work, flowers are pretty much a year-round commitment. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
One of my favorite parts of this journey is getting to do it with my family. Lake and Lily have grown up right alongside this farm. They help plant seeds, water flowers, and even work the farmers market with us. They're some of our biggest helpers.
And I couldn't do any of this without my husband, who somehow manages to turn all of my crazy ideas into reality. Every flower farmer needs someone willing to say, "Sure, let's try it." 😆
We're so thankful to be able to grow fresh flowers and share them with our community. Thank you for following along, supporting our little farm, and being part of this journey with us. We can't wait to see what else this season brings! 🌸💛
