🌿 Meet Our Summer Intern, Alexis 🌿
We are excited to welcome Alexis to Easy Tree Nursery as our Summer Intern!
Alexis is studying at The University of Florida, Plant Science. After graduating she will go to graduate school to study entomology and horticulture with the eventual goal of working in applied research. She wanted an internship to get hands on experience in production and see how different things she’s learning about in school actually work in practice, as well as to gain a better idea of the differences between academic/research horticulture and actual production. Alexis is gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of nursery production, learning the processes that help bring quality plants from propagation to the finished product. Throughout the summer, she will work alongside our team to develop practical horticultural skills, gain industry knowledge, and experience the day-to-day operations of a wholesale nursery.
At Easy Tree Nursery, we are passionate about investing in the next generation of horticulture professionals and providing opportunities for students to grow their knowledge through real-world experience.
