One of my favorite plants in the winter garden is just about finished blooming.
This is Edgeworthia, and if you’ve never smelled it before, the fragrance is amazing. It’s sweet and citrusy, and you notice it the moment you walk near the plant.
What I love most is how the flowers appear before the leaves, glowing on the branches when almost nothing else is blooming in the garden.
It’s one of the most unique and underrated shrubs I recommend for Georgia gardens.
What’s your favorite plant in the garden right now?
