The wait is over… the FINAL reveal is here! 🏡🤯👏🏽

A little while back, we gave y’all a sneak peek at this whole-home renovation and promised the finished photos would be worth the wait. Well, here they are, and this one turned out absolutely incredible! 😮‍💨

What started as a major addition to the rear of this home to create a larger kitchen, upstairs primary bedroom, closet, and bathroom turned into a beautiful transformation throughout the entire home.

From the custom inset cabinetry, with a gorgeous combination of stained and painted finishes, to the stunning countertops with that timeless ogee edge detail, every little detail came together beautifully.

And can we talk about those hardwood floors and windows?! 🤯

This is one of those projects where the photos really do tell the story. So much planning, hard work, and attention to detail went into bringing this home to life, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team and everyone involved.

A Piece of New Orleans History Renewed. ✨

Le Pavillon Hotel first opened its doors in 1907, originally known as the New Hotel Denechaud. Today, more than 100 years later, this historic property continues to welcome guests in the heart of New Orleans and we’re incredibly proud that Quillen Construction Group had the opportunity to be a part of its latest chapter.

Our team recently completed an extensive renovation throughout the hotel while maintaining the character and elegance that makes Le Pavillon so unique.

As part of the project, we converted multiple existing one bedroom configurations into two bedroom master suites, creating spacious accommodations featuring a separate bedroom and living room.

The transformation continued throughout the hotel corridors, where our team installed new wallpaper, door casing, door stops, shadow-box trim, chair rail, with accented light fixtures and decorative sconces. We also completed extensive painting throughout the hallways, including the walls, doors, and trim work, bringing everything together with a refreshed, elegant finish.

Beyond the guest floors, our team performed painting and finish work throughout portions of the historic lobby, along with exterior painting, helping refresh the property while respecting the architecture and character that have defined this hotel since 1907.

Projects like this are about more than simply making something look new. It's about modernizing a space while preserving the history that makes it worth remembering.

🏡✨ Sometimes, a home doesn’t need to be completely reinvented — it just needs the right refresh!

This home underwent a whole-home renovation, touching nearly every space while keeping the existing kitchen cabinetry. The goal was to update the finishes, make it more cozy, and give everything a fresh, cohesive look and the finished product came out gorgeous! 😍

Throughout the home, we installed luxury vinyl flooring, complemented by patterned tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. The bathrooms received major upgrades with new tile tub and shower surrounds, vanities, countertops, and updated fixtures. To bring everything together, the entire home received a fresh new paint job!

It’s amazing what the right combination of finishes and upgrades can do to completely transform a home!

🖤🔥 FROM WARM WOOD TO BOLD BLACK — WHAT A TRANSFORMATION!

The original kitchen featured traditional wood cabinetry, outdated countertops and appliances. Our clients were ready for something completely different and the finished product made a statement!

We transformed the kitchen with sleek black refinished cabinets with new custom uppers to match the existing, new countertops, updated appliances, a redesigned island, modern finishes, and a dramatic range hood that immediately draws your eye into the space. The lighter natural wood countertop on the island adds just the right amount of warmth and contrast against all that black. 👌

And we didn’t stop at the kitchen! 🔥 The fireplace received its own makeover, helping tie the surrounding living space into the new look.

🚧🛁 Another Bathroom Remodel Has Officially Kicked Off!

Our designer worked closely with these clients to bring their ideas together and make sure every detail was exactly how they envisioned it. Now it’s our team’s turn to take that vision and bring it to life! 🔨

We’re starting by saying goodbye to the existing bathroom and getting everything opened up and ready for a completely new layout and fresh new look.

Demo is underway, and this is only the beginning! 👀

Our clients were ready to give the front of their home a serious upgrade and they didn’t stop at the porch!

We removed the existing wood porch decking and upgraded it to a low-maintenance composite decking system. We also removed the existing wood trim and column wraps and replaced them with Hardie products for a cleaner, more durable finished exterior. 💪

But while we were at it, there was another problem that needed some attention… the U-shaped driveway!

The existing concrete was breaking apart and had improper drainage, causing water to collect and retain near the front of the home. So our team removed the existing and addressed the grading and slope to help properly direct water away and give the driveway a fresh new look. 🚧💦

Looks matter, but functionality matters too! Sometimes a renovation isn’t just about making your home look better, it’s about correcting problems and protecting your investment for years to come.

🏡💥 Can you imagine having Tulane Stadium practically in your backyard?!

We’re talking close enough that foul baseballs can end up in your pool and backyard! ⚾️😂 Well… BOOM! 💥 Check out how spectacular this whole-home remodel turned out!

Our team gave this home a complete transformation new flooring, tile, cabinetry, custom closets, updated finishes, and so much more. We went through this home from top to bottom, and the finished product is incredible!

But what makes this project even more special is the history behind the home.

Originally known as the Moses Residence, this 1948 Mid-Century Modern home was constructed primarily of reinforced concrete and CMU, making it unlike almost anything we get the opportunity to renovate.

Taking a home with this much character and history and giving it a completely new life while working within its unique construction was an awesome project for our team.
