Seed Library Closing

Southside Seed Library Closing for the Season. With our transition into full-blown summer, the planting season is almost over. That means the Seed Library housed at the Southside Branch will be closing soon for the season. If you would like to get some seeds, please do so by June 27th.

Even though the Seed Library will be closed, there are still seed-related activities that will take place in the fall, including a hands-on session on seed saving and cleaning (September 19th) and a film screening about the importance of preserving seed strains in an age of monoculture crops, industrial farming, and climate change (September 12th). Look for these events in the Library's weekly newsletter.
