Growing Grounds Farm Santa Maria is a program of Transitions-Mental Health Association. Pesticide-free produce, flowers, & plants.

Growing Grounds Farm in Santa Maria combines horticultural therapy and vocational training to provide individuals with mental illness employment and a supportive environment where personal growth can be realized. Growing Grounds Farm Santa Maria was launched in October 2000, modeled on the successful Growing Grounds Farm San Luis Obispo. This Saturday's Pay-What-You-Can Produce bags will offer fantastic Fall selection: Cherry Tomatoes, Lettuce Mix, Potatoes, Yellow Onions, Kuri Winter Squash and Eggplant! Available while supplies last Saturdays 10am to 3pm.
Kuri Winter Squash are fabulous prepared in several ways; roasting, Simmer for soups, Stir-fry or sauté them! If you enjoy them, you can save the seeds and grow them next Spring.
