Alocasia Cuprea Latte ☕️🖤

This one is ridiculous in person. The leaves shift between bronze, olive, gold and deep copper depending on the light, with that signature metallic Cuprea finish that almost looks painted on.

It has that rare combination of being unusual without needing crazy variegation to make an impact. The texture, color and shape do all the work.

Pinguicula gypsicola × agnata is one of those plants that doesn’t even look real. 🌸

The shape alone is wild, but that soft pink coloring is what really makes it stand out. It has this almost alien, sculptural look that somehow still feels delicate.

And yes…it’s carnivorous.

These guys catch tiny gnats and other small insects on the surface of their leaves, so they’re not just beautiful, they’re actually useful too. 🪰🌿

Definitely one of the more unusual plants coming through The Root right now, and one I think collectors are going to love.

The Scalprum Aurea is one of those plants that doesn’t need much introduction.

Known for its heavily textured, almost reptilian leaves, this variety takes things a step further with striking aurea variegation ranging from subtle marbling to bold splashes of yellow and lime green. 💚💛
