Little midway peek at a project we’ve been working on 👀

We already shared the new front deck and sliding glass door install on this home, but the hallway bathroom deserved its own moment too. That deep green subway tile accent wall with the custom transom window is going to look SO good once everything is tied together.

For this phase of the remodel we:
✔️ Demoed the existing tub/shower
✔️ Installed a new tub and plumbing fixtures
✔️ Framed and waterproofed the shower walls
✔️ Added a custom recessed niche
✔️ Installed, grouted, and sealed the new subway tile
✔️ Framed in a custom transom opening
✔️ Installed Low-E tempered glass, flashing, and sealing
✔️ Replaced and properly vented the bathroom exhaust fan

A lot of the work that makes a bathroom last forever is the part you don’t always see in the final photos — proper waterproofing, framing, ventilation, flashing, sealing, prep work. The pretty tile is just the bonus at the end.
