We have been a family owned and operated Garden Center and Farm Market since 1949. We grow a wide variety of annuals and perennials as well as a farm field full of fresh veggies. All of our plants grown here are raised using no synthetic pesticides. We're more than just plants! We have a great cafe and bakery where we make breads, pastries, and perfect meals to grab-and-go; all made fresh using lo

cal ingredients. Everyday is a Farmer's Market here. During the harvest season of June through October our building transforms into a Farm Market filled with our own, and other local farmers, fresh veggies and fruits. We carry a great selection of wines and other specialty food items to help round out our selection.

If the leaves on your shrubs and perennials are turning yellow, they might just be hungry. Heavy summer growth and frequent watering naturally deplete nutrients from the soil, leaving foliage looking pale and washed out. You can easily restore that lush green color by applying a water-soluble fertilizer, which delivers a fast pick-me-up directly to the roots and leaves.

If the leaf tissue is yellow but the veins stay dark green, look for a formula with chelated iron to fix the deficiency quickly. Just remember to water your plants thoroughly the day before fertilizing to protect the roots from stress. Stop by the garden center this week to pick up the right formula and keep your landscape finishing the season strong.
