We navigated newly adopted Overlake and multi-family mixed-use zoning requirements while respectfully transitioning building scale and pedestrian environments around 8+ acres of critical areas to ensure compliance and long-term viability. The “green” of Peter Kirk Park extends onto the buildings themselves to create a three-dimensional series of terraces, overlooks, and elevated retail decks that provide views of the park, adjacent ball fields, and Kirkland CBD. Just as the park activates the adjacent development, Kirkland Urban activates and enhances the park.
