Quillisascut Summer Farm Camp is Back!

We’re teaming up once again with the incredible Quillisascut Farm in Rice, WA for two immersive 4‑day farm‑to‑table adventures: July 23–26 and September 17–20.

Spend your days milking goats, making cheese, harvesting from the gardens, foraging, baking wood‑fired sourdough, cooking with what you gather, and sharing unforgettable meals with new friends. Lodging is included.

This farm to table focused camp is led by and the family 🌾 🐐

Joe took us on a deep dive of all things rice, the importance of paella pans and heat control, and so much more.

Vegan lime curd and toasted meringue bars from our recent class The Vegan Bakery: Cookies and Bars.

Last week we welcomed Bernadette Biela to The Pantry to teach as all about the basics of plant-based baking!

We also learned how to whip up a savory shortbread, cherry jam filled Black Forest cake cookies, and mango sticky rice cookies!

We are so excited to welcome back to The Pantry to celebrate the release of her cookbook Soomaaliya!

Join as Ifrah joins the the Pantry team to enjoy some of her favorite dishes from her debut book. Pricing includes a wine or non-alcoholic drink pairing with each savory course, Somali tea with dessert, and a copy of Soomaaliya.

🗓: Tuesday, April 14th
⏰️: 6:30pm-9:30pm

On the menu:

* Spiced Beef Sambus (dumplings) with Basbaas (green garlic hot sauce)
* Little Gem Salad with radishes, tomato, and tamarind-date dressing
*Mallaay Qumbe (Coconut fish curry) with coconut milk and zawaash (a 7-spice mix)
*Bariis (Somali-style rice pilaf with cardamom, cinnamon, and cumin
* Doolsho Timir (Date and Cardamom cake)
* Shaah (spiced Somali tea with oat milk and maple syrup)

Mark your calendar for Monday, March 30th! Darin Gagner of will be at The Pantry to give your knives their best sharp life!

You can drop off your knives between 8-9 am, and pick them up between 4-5:30 pm. No sharpening while you wait, but same day service is available.

$2 per inch (with $12 minimum) plus fair rates for repairs.
