Our apothecary side has launched! 🚀

In about a 4-6 weeks we’ll have our first tincture for sale, created from our personal Evening Primrose harvest that was planted from the same stock we offer you. (We actually didn’t expect it to bloom this year but perfect growing conditions gave us great luck!)

The medicinal benefits of this night-blooming biennial are practically endless. Every part is edible and useful internally and externally as an antispasmodic, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory…and on and on. It is widely considered to be a top-tier symptom soother for nearly all women’s health issues.

This is what makes Green Forks so ‘Native & Nourishing’ and we are beaming 🙏

The Green Forks grow space is officially certified as an Audubon habitat hero!

All of the plants we sell come from a 2 acre space that is currently planted with 35% natives (and growing) - including a hardwood forest with 4 types of oaks! We have been working diligently on this project so we can continue to ensure that the seed-grown natives we provide our customers are sourced hyper locally. You can take comfort knowing everything you purchase comes from a conscious and well-cared for wildlife environment! 🌱 💪

Oh no no, it is NOT too late to plant! We have some brand new babies that will be ready to go in the ground in early September - prime time! Seen is Common Milkweed, Sweetgrass, Swamp Milkweed, Wingstem, Sweet Joe Pye, Early Sunflower, and Culver’s Root! (we also already have for sale more mature versions of many of these). So go ahead, get your garden on!
