🔧 LVP buckling — warranty or not? 🤔
We were called for a paid service repair after LVP flooring buckled and joints cracked.
The cause: • Direct sunlight ☀️
• Loose gypcrete subfloor
• Expansion over time
Many homeowners assume this type of issue is always covered under warranty — but in many cases it isn’t, especially when subfloor conditions and heat exposure are involved.
A full gypcrete removal and subfloor rebuild is often the proper long-term solution, but it can be invasive and costly.
