Most people think they’ve solved lighting once they pick a fixture, but that’s only part of it. 💡What really makes a space work is layering: ambient light to set the tone, task lighting where you need it, and accent lighting to bring everything together. Miss one, and something always feels off. Get it right, and the room works from morning to night. ✨

An awkward peninsula that blocks the flow and keeps the kitchen and dining areas completely disconnected. Sound familiar?

It’s a challenge we see often, especially in older homes. In this Aidan kitchen, we rethought everything. By removing the peninsula and introducing a movable island (in a bold orange, because our clients weren’t afraid of color 👏), the space opens up completely, bringing light, flow, and function back into the room.

A fresh take on spring. 🌼 We used a bold counter-to-ceiling mango tile in this DC Kitchen to bring in vibrant color and energy, balanced by clean white cabinetry and natural wood floors. An arched opening connects to the adjacent room, keeping the space feeling bright, open, and ready for the season ahead.
