🌳 A Little Thinning Can Go a Long Way!

This tree just needed a little attention! Our crew thinned out the canopy to allow for better airflow throughout the canopy and open things up a bit.

We also wanted to allow more filtered sunlight to reach the grass underneath, giving it a better opportunity to grow.

Tree care isn't always about removing trees or cutting back large branches. Sometimes it's about maintaining the canopy, improving the tree's structure, and making the entire yard look a little better.

🌳 Sometimes, Trusting Your Gut Can Prevent a Disaster!

Luckily, this homeowner noticed something wasn't right with their tree and called Huffman Tree Company out for an inspection.

A previous windstorm had left a stress crack in the main trunk, compromising the tree's stability. After taking a closer look, it was clear this tree was a serious concern. Another windy day could have caused it to fail, potentially damaging the homeowner's house, a neighbor's property, or even the power lines supplying the neighborhood.

Our crew stepped in and removed the tree before it had a chance to come down on its own.

🌳 One More Step Toward Getting This Tree Taken Care Of!

About a month ago, a strong windstorm broke the top out of this tree in Dayton. We came out then to clean up the fallen top, but the remaining trunk was still standing and needed to be taken down.

Our crew recently returned to finish the job and remove the rest of the standing trunk.
