While I design in both contemporary and traditional styles, there are certain common threads that run throughout my design work. I find that pleasing spaces are created by a well-organized plan, logical spatial flow, good room proportions, a connection to the outdoors, and abundant natural light. I work hard to understand clients’ needs in order to avoid unnecessary space, so that money can be spent on better quality rather than more quantity. I strive to design buildings that are beautiful, timeless and delightful to use but which also use resources wisely.
