I had the pleasure of fixing this Mid-Century Coca-Cola counter clock sign light. It was made by Price Brothers of Chicago and in New York City.
These illuminated advertising displays were commonly placed on counters or hung in soda fountains and stores during the mid-century.

I upgraded the internal fluorescent light to LED and brought the electrical up to today's safety standards.

Even though I was an 80s baby I have always been fascinated with the 50s style. As a kid and being from the birthplace I was obsessed with Route 66 (so much I would drive the whole road from Chicago to L.A.) and diners, drive-ins, and dives (before Guy Fieri made it a thing on TV).

My grandpa worked and retired from Coca-Cola and many fond memories were we always had a coke with him on the farm.
I will say my love for the 50s was solidified when I was in a play in high-school where I learned swing dance and I was hooked.

I have always loved the 50s diner style I had to make my kitchen resemble it a little (thus the background).

I remember listening to this podcast back when it came out.
I was a fan of hers, but this podcast allowed me to love her so much more.
