We will have loads of fresh vegetables and herbs and our special dry herb blends!

Bare Roots Family Farm will have fresh chicken, eggs, beef and pork!

We are located at the Hoosac Valley Farmers’ Exchange store!! They offer so many amazing farm supply items right here at 529 Madigan Road, Schaghticoke, NY

There will also be a Retro Gaming tent tonight!! How cool is that!!

Catnip Tea (a super tasty and relaxing tea hot or cold!) Catnip isn’t just for kitties!!!

Ingredients:
20 fresh catnip leaves, use more for extra flavor!
2 cups water
1 tsp sugar or honey use more or less to taste
2 lemon slices
2-3 sprigs fresh mint, any variety

Instructions
Rinse Catnip and mint leaves and set aside to dry.
Bring tea water to a boil. Pour into a teapot or a French Press.
Crush leaves with your hands to release oil and then add them to the teapot, or add them to the pot and use a cocktail muddler or the back of a wooden spoon.
Add sugar and/or honey
Cover pot. Steep 10-15 minutes.
Serve hot, with lemon if desired.
Or
For iced tea: make a larger batch of tea, let the tea cool slightly, and then store in a pitcher or glass jar in the fridge. Use within 2-3 days.
