Thermal mass is a battery. Tires, adobe, rammed earth, earthbag, concrete and stone soak up the sun by day and give the heat back at night, when the mass sits inside the insulation and the windows are set to the sun's angles. Our newsletter goes deeper Thursday morning. Sign up at the link in bio.
