Most garage floor horror stories aren’t about the brand on the can.
They’re about picking the wrong system for how that garage actually gets used.
Epoxy and polyaspartic aren’t interchangeable.
Here’s the honest version:
• Epoxy — tough, proven, great look for many homes. Needs the right conditions and cure time. Heat, UV, and heavy tire traffic can stress the wrong build.
• Polyaspartic — faster cure, stronger UV/chemical resistance, often better for hot cars and high-use garages. Not always the cheapest line item — and that’s the point.
• Prep still decides both — grind, moisture check, crack repair. Fancy resin on a wet or dusty slab fails either way.
• Ask what *your* floor needs — climate, vehicle heat, chemicals, timeline — not what a salesperson wants to sell today.
Pioneer Concrete Coatings LLC installs for how you actually use the space, not whatever’s trending this month.
