The Planning Center is excited to share the approval of a rezoning project on the east side of Tucson that will allow for 25 new single-family homes off Rosewood Street.
At a time when housing projects often face intense scrutiny, this approval reinforces an important truth: well-designed, fact-based development led by the right team can move forward and make an impact, no matter the project’s size.
Thoughtful infill development is never simple. Navigating differing opinions, misconceptions, and competing voices requires experience and collaboration, but when strong planning guides the process, good outcomes rise to the top. This effort reflects our belief that increasing housing supply through responsible, neighborhood-scaled development is part of the solution, not the problem.
We appreciate the guidance and support of Ward 2 Councilmember Paul Cunningham throughout the process, and the referral and collaboration from John Carroll of Land Advisors Organization. Most importantly, we thank the Property Owner for trusting our team to move this project forward.
We look forward to seeing this project come to fruition and continuing to advocate for practical, well-executed solutions to Tucson’s housing challenges.
