As November approaches, it’s time to start thinking about Spring wildflowers! Early in November, direct sow seeds outside for Spring blooms. Winter rains will soon be here to soak in the seeds you’ve sown and begin the transformation into a beautiful, full-color canvas. But the preparations begin now!

If you don’t have wildflower seeds, put in an order with your favorite supplier so you can plant on time. You can also find seeds from one of our local Tucson organizations. Below are the links to some of them.

Tucson’s /SEARCH online is a great resource for wildflowers.
https://www.nativeseeds.org/collections/wildflowers

You can also browse free seeds in person, or reserve seeds online for pick-up at your local .

If you have questions, please reach out to the Pima County Extension Office, where our master gardeners are happy to help.

Much colder temperatures are around the corner, so be prepared to move sensitive container plants and have frost cloth on hand. Fall wildflowers are still blooming and cool-temperature vegetables can be planted. Hardscaping or water harvesting projects can be implemented. Spring-blooming bulbs and wildflowers can be planted now for a blast of color later.

Thank you to all the Master Gardeners who helped make our Saturday plant sale a success! Your months of propagation, donations, organization, and hard work made this wonderful event go smoothly. We appreciate all you do.

We would also like to thank our community members who attended the sale. You made our first plant sale in our new nursery an incredible success! The money you spent at our sale goes straight back into funding our garden, programs, and supporting the education and outreach we provide throughout Pima County.

We hope those of you who took new plants home will enjoy them long into the future.
If you have questions about getting those new starts growing beautifully, please reach out to one of our Master Gardeners at the Pima County Extension Office by following the link below [URL]:

Tomorrow is the day!!!

Reminder: Our Fall Plant Sale Has a Brand-New Home - NEW NURSERY IS THREE TIMES THE SIZE

Saturday, October 24, 2026 | 8:00–11:00 a.m.
Pima County Cooperative Extension | 4210 N. Campbell Ave., Tucson

Our previous nursery and greenhouse served the Master Gardener Program for
more than 30 years. Now, we’re beginning an exciting new chapter in an
ergonomically designed nursery that is three times the size of the original—providing more room for plants, Master Gardeners and, most importantly, our Plant Sale shoppers.

Bring your own wagon or cart and make your way through the new nursery as you
shop for cacti, trees, shrubs, flowering plants, irises, bulbs, herbs, seasonal vegetables and more.
No dogs or strollers are allowed in the sales area for your safety.

Master Gardener volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and help you find
plants well suited to Southern Arizona gardens.
Come early for the best selection—and be among the first Plant Sale shoppers to
experience our new nursery!

🚨IMPORTANT: NEW PLANT SALE ENTRANCE & PARKING
Although our address remains 4210 N. Campbell Avenue, all Plant Sale parking is
accessed from Roger Road. There is no regular Plant Sale parking entrance from
Campbell Avenue.
From Roger Road and Campbell Avenue, head east on Roger Road. Take the
second left-hand turn and follow the Plant Sale signs to parking and the new nursery.
