Espresso shaker cabinets are often connected with more traditional kitchens, but when they are paired with the right materials they can create a very clean and modern design. In this kitchen concept, we combined the espresso cabinetry with lighter flooring, white countertops, simple vertical backsplash tile, and softer seating textures to keep the space feeling open and contemporary. The stacked upper cabinets helped emphasize the height of the room while also adding extra storage, and the brass hardware introduced a warmer accent against the darker cabinet finish.

You want to remodel your kitchen but you are not sure where to start, right? Which cabinets to choose, what colors work together, and how the final kitchen will actually look once everything is installed.

That is why we always like to start with kitchen concepts first, where we create the renders and material moodboards to fully visualize the space before the project begins. For this concept, we combined oak slimline shaker cabinets with white perimeter cabinets to create more visual contrast while still keeping the kitchen light and open.

Once the cabinet style and colors were selected, we built the rest of the design around them — Calacatta quartz countertops to brighten the natural oak texture, a marble-look backsplash to soften the transition between materials, brushed nickel hardware for a cleaner modern finish, and blue pendant lighting to introduce a subtle accent color into the space. Creating the concept first helps us make sure every individual element works together before the final kitchen layout is approved.

Look at this amazing solution for maximizing storage while still keeping an open and easy feel throughout the bathroom. In this project, we used tall white shaker cabinets, built-in vanity storage, and clean integrated layouts to create plenty of functional space without making the room feel crowded. The combination of white cabinetry, black hardware, darker flooring, and large glass surfaces helped achieve a modern look while allowing all the storage elements to blend naturally into the overall design.

We know that sometimes you might look at our page and think of kitchen cabinets only, but the same cabinet styles can also become part of other spaces in your home, including bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and storage areas. For this bathroom project, we used simple white shaker vanities with black hardware and fixtures to create a clean and practical setup with plenty of storage. The double vanity layout keeps the space functional for everyday use, while the marble-look shower and warm wood flooring help add texture and warmth without making the design feel too busy.
