The best projects don’t just come from talent — they come from the right team. The kind that’s insanely good at what they do and a joy to work with.

Working alongside Abbe Murray of .co means every design decision is thoughtful, intentional, and honestly… brilliant. She has a rare ability to see the whole picture and make it better than I could have imagined.

And I was college roommates with Zach Smith of .mountain.builders - he is the kind of builder every client hopes they’ll get. He's a deep well of knowledge, but not only that I've seen his steady character and honesty over the years.

All of this AND they're fun people to be around. It's not a dread to jump on a meeting with them and hang out for a few minutes. I think through all that you end up with a final product that's simply better.

Something youre gonna see a lot more in building assemblies and code conversations is fire protective materials. I have a house coming up in Colorado where we'll have some new code requirements on this. has come out with a new wall panel to address the code updates. I'll have a video with a rep coming soon with more info.

I grew up in valpo. I played sports for valpo. My wife teaches for valpo. My kids go to valpo. But I cant help but feel INSANELY proud of my brother-in-law and the work he's done for laporte bball. He's and awesome coach and an even better guy. Good luck tonight slicers!
