Happy 50th birthday to Matt! 🎉
The guy who "has a spreadsheet for that."
With a sharp eye for detail,
And a plan that can’t fail,
Matt will make your lawn world-class.

An athlete from his earliest days,
He walk-mowed greens in the hot summer haze.
Though Ohio gave Matt his start,
Penn State captured his heart,
And football now rules fall Saturdays 🏈

Though wife Lindy cheers Ohio State loud,
Matt still wears his Nittany pride proud.
Game days spark debate
Rooting for rival states,
But their love somehow survives the showdowns.

From his work at Pinehurst No. 2,
And the PA Country Club and now Greensward too,
His daughters are his life's brightest light --
They are talented and fearless and bright!
He’s built a life filled with love and laughter straight through.

So here’s to 50 for Matt today!
Still improving in every way.
Whether tarpon fishing or tracking his charts,

Nutsedge may look like grass at first, but it grows faster, stands taller, and has a lighter green color that makes it stick out in the lawn. It also thrives in wet areas, which is why it often shows up where drainage or overwatering is an issue.

The tricky part is that nutsedge doesn’t respond to normal w**d control the same way other grassy w**ds do. Identifying it early and treating it properly makes a big difference.
