This bathroom is about to get a serious upgrade.

We’re taking out the old bathtub and cultured marble surround and replacing it with a sleek, classic, and much more functional walk-in shower designed to help these homeowners with their aging-in-place plan.

The goal here is simple: make the shower easier to use, easier to access, and a whole lot better looking.

Instead of a standard tub wall that has to be stepped over every day, this new shower will have a minimized curb that will be roughly 3 inches tall. That gives the homeowners a much easier entry point while still keeping the shower clean, contained, and functional.

🛁 China Spring, TX Master Bathroom Remodel

This master bathroom went from a dated 90s layout with a giant jetted soaker tub to a lighter, brighter, more timeless space with a clean and elegant feel.

We removed the oversized built-in tub that was taking up too much room and replaced it with a beautiful freestanding bathtub that makes the bathroom feel more open and modern. We also installed custom-height vanities, new countertops, updated mirrors, new lighting, fresh tile flooring, and picture-frame wall details to give the room a more refined, classic look.

The goal was to modernize the bathroom without making it feel trendy or overdone — and this one turned out beautifully. The new layout feels larger, brighter, and much more comfortable while still keeping that timeless, elegant style.

🚧 From 1940s Kitchen Chaos to Modern Waco Kitchen Makeover

This kitchen started out with a little bit of everything going on.

Washer and dryer in the kitchen? Yep.
Water heater hanging out where it didn’t belong? Also yes.
Old layout, tired cabinets, questionable flooring, and a whole lot of “we need to talk”? Absolutely. 😅

So we gave this Waco kitchen the reset button it deserved.

We relocated the washer and dryer into a closet with a stackable unit, moved the water heater out of the way, updated the floor joists to properly support the new layout, and completely reworked the space from top to bottom.

This remodel included:

This 90s shower had been trying its best… but it was cramped, leaking, outdated, and had reached the point where another bead of silicone was not going to be the hero of the story 😅

The homeowners had tried to repair the leak, but water kept finding its way out. Once that starts happening, it’s usually a sign that the problem is bigger than what you can see on the surface.

So we tore it out and rebuilt it the right way.

For this Lorena, TX shower remodel, we expanded the shower pan to give them a larger walk-in shower without making it feel too big for the bathroom. Then we installed a fully waterproofed shower system, classic white wall tile, a marble mosaic stone shower floor, a custom corner niche, an upgraded shower valve and shower head, updated lighting, and a beautiful frameless glass shower door and surround.

This Waco bathroom remodel was about more than just making the shower look better — it was about solving a real problem for the homeowner.

The original tub/shower combo was not working well for their mobility needs. 🚿 From builder-grade to five-star hotel feel right at home.

This bathroom started with a cramped builder-grade shower that was leaking and growing mold in the corner. Once we opened it up, we found the real problem: the original shower was simply not built correctly. No matter how good the tile looked on the outside, the system behind it was never going to last.

So we tore it out and completely reworked the space.

We removed the old leaking shower, took out the small drop-in tub, and expanded the shower by taking over a small linen closet. That allowed us to create a much larger custom walk-in shower without adding onto the room.

We also added backlit niches for both the tub and shower, installed a new freestanding bathtub, updated the tile, lighting, fixtures, and gave the whole bathroom a much smarter layout.

The best part? The bathroom itself is not physically bigger, but it feels dramatically larger, brighter, and more open because the space is being used so much better.

This one went from builder-grade and failing to clean, modern, functional, and spa-like.
