One wrong move and this tree could have ended up in someone’s living room.
Instead, it landed exactly where we planned.
Last week in Innsbrook, we tackled a large tree that was heavily overhanging a home and standing only a few feet away from the structure. In situations like this, every cut carries risk. While many crews may have chosen to remove the tree piece by piece, that would have introduced dozens of separate opportunities for something to go wrong. More cuts = More risk.
After extensive planning and evaluating every variable, our crew determined the safest option was a single, carefully executed drop.
By understanding the species of the tree, its natural lean, weight distribution, surrounding obstacles, and available landing zone, we were able to eliminate dozens of unnecessary cuts and reduce the overall risk involved with the removal.
The result? One cut. One controlled fall. Zero damage.
Not only was the home protected, but we were also able to place the tree precisely between surrounding trees the homeowner wanted preserved. Looking at the final photo, you’d hardly know a tree was removed at all.
This is why experience matters. The details matter. Proper planning, trained arborists, and a crew that works together day in and day out can make all the difference when the stakes are high.
We’re incredibly proud of our team for the preparation, precision, and professionalism they brought to this job. The house was protected, the surrounding trees remained untouched, and the tree landed exactly where it was intended.
Doing it right the first time is everything.
