Every fence we install is guaranteed against installation defects and workmanship errors for one full year. If something goes wrong because of how the fence was installed, we'll come back and make it right.

Many of the products we use also carry manufacturer warranties, so depending on materials, your coverage may extend beyond that.

We install every fence like it's going on our own property. We are blessed to have an experienced group of installers who have been trained in our fence installation practices, and we believe in doing things the right way, the first time, every

It's not the most glamorous part of a fence installation, but post depth is one thing that determines whether or not your fence stays straight and holds up over time.

A general rule of thumb: post depth should be about one-third the height of the fence. For a 6-foot fence, that's at least 2 feet in the ground. We set our posts at or beyond that standard, and we use concrete on nearly everything, except cedar posts. Concrete accelerates rot on cedar posts, so for those we backfill and tamp the native soil instead.

May is National Pool Safety Month! Take some time over the next few weeks to walk the perimeter of your pool fence and make sure your pool is secure. Things to look for:
- Ensure the fence is secure, stable, and free of damage
- Confirm gates are self-closing and self-latching
- Check that latches, hinges, and hardware are functioning properly
- Remove climbable objects like furniture, toys, or equipment near the fence
- Inspect for gaps, loose panels, or areas in need of repair

Choosing the right latch for your pool gate is an important consideration when it comes to pool safety. The most common safety latch we use is called a MagnaLatch, manufactured by D & D Technologies. The opening mechanism is 54” + above the ground, so children have a hard time unlocking it. There is also an option called the MagnaLatch ALERT, which includes a gate alarm for added safety. We recommend both of these options for their safety features and durability.

Vinyl is often sold as a low-maintenance option, but no fence is completely maintenance-free.

While it's considerably easier to maintain than a wood fence, your vinyl fence may need
• Occasional power washing to keep it looking clean
• Gate or latch adjustments
• Minor repairs due to heaving that can happen in the winter due to frost

A little attention each spring goes a long way in keeping your fence looking and functioning the way it should!

Sometimes, our customers are looking for fences to serve different purposes in different areas of their property. And, in those cases, sometimes the right thing to do is incorporate two different types of fence.

This project in Warwick, NY included a Landmark vinyl privacy fence in the backyard with a contemporary picket fence out front. The privacy fence gives the backyard what it needs while the picket fence frames the front of the property without closing it off. Two styles but one common material to tie everything together.
