We specialize in crafting harmonious atmospheres because lifestyle begins in the spaces we live in.

Hardt Studio began in 2020 during the height of the coronavirus pandemic. With a mandated lock down, we began to see the results of years of neglecting our living environments. When we were forced to spend time isolated inside our homes or working from empty offices one thing became clear to me: our mentality begins in the atmospheres we create. As an interior designer and architect in this unique time, I knew I was uniquely positioned to help people and businesses create better environments. Hardt Studio came from my desire to not only help people design a beautiful space but to craft a harmonious culture. At Hardt Studio, we like to say that we aren’t just a team of designers, we are a team of luxury living space creators that specialize in helping you shape an atmosphere. We do this because I am convinced that lifestyle begins in the environments where we live.

Sometimes a space doesn't need a complete overhaul, It just needs a little vision. 🌟

For this kitchen, we'd trade the two unused accent chairs for a custom built-in banquette, introduce rich, dark wood cabinetry, dramatic stone, and a modern black range hood. Warm globe pendants, soft greige walls, and a vintage-inspired rug in muted sage and earthy neutrals bring balance to the moodier palette.

The result? A kitchen that feels moody, a little rustic, and a whole lot more inviting.

Yesterday was installation day at the Claypool Residence! 🏡✈️

After retiring from the Navy as a Harrier jet pilot, our client and his wife made the move to Wichita to be closer to their children and grandchildren. We had the privilege of also designing their daughter and son-in-law’s home, making this project especially meaningful. What a joy to help an entire family make Wichita home!

This home is full of personality, from a custom-commissioned jet mural by Danielle Studios, Inc , to playful wallpaper, thoughtfully selected paint colors, and plenty of unique details.

We also had fun sourcing game tables and furniture to complement the pieces and treasured decor they already owned, bringing everything together to make the home feel complete and uniquely theirs.

Projects like this remind us that great design is about so much more than a beautiful space. It’s about the people, the memories, and the next chapter that happens within it.
