Listen up… if you’re creative, neurospicy, or just someone who feels things deeply and struggles to process emotions sometimes, hear me out.

A lot of people may look at my social media and assume something I post is directed at them, offensive, or personal. But most of the time, what I’m posting is actually directed inward. It’s me processing. It’s me trying to understand myself. It’s my own inner guidance saying, “hey hey hey… I’m trying to get your attention.”

Creativity has always been the language my soul speaks in first. Sometimes it comes out through words, art, movement, music, humor, or symbolism before I can even logically explain it.

So if something I post triggers you or stirs something up in you, maybe sit with that for a second and ask yourself why… because honestly, I’m usually doing the exact same thing with myself 🌸

🧘🏼‍♀️My favorite yoga posture has always been headstand. In yoga tradition it’s said this posture is the gateway to enlightenment…but I’ve always loved it for other reasons too.

Heart over head. 🌸

There’s something about that feeling of flipping your world upside down and realizing clarity was never in the mind to begin with. It was always in the heart.

But that’s the blessing and the curse. When you lead with the heart, you feel everything deeply. You give the benefit of the doubt. You hold on longer than you should because we can see the good, the potential, the light in people and situations.

And at some point we have to accept that sometimes we are participating in our own heartbreak. Not because we deserved it. Not because we are weak. But because somewhere along the way we confused self sacrifice with love. We assume people have our same intentions when in reality it’s very rare.

💫Just because something is your blessing doesn’t mean you have to turn it into your own curse.
