𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫. ✨

Crisp white tile, frameless glass and a warm wood-slat feature wall completely changed this bathroom.

The best part? The natural light was already there — the new design simply makes much better use of it.

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰? 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 💡

A room can have plenty of light and still feel harsh or flat.

The trick is balance — enough overall light, focused light where you need it, and softer light that gives the room warmth.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 “𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭”

One ceiling light can make a room feel flat.

Layer it instead: overhead for function, lamps for warmth, accent lighting for atmosphere.

Simple change. Big difference after dark.

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧. ✨

Soft greige cabinetry, a navy island, waterfall quartz and light wood floors completely changed this Winter Garden kitchen.

No walls moved.

Florida may still be sunny, but are your interiors going cozier for October? 🍂

🤎 Team Warm — oat, clay, natural wood
🩶 Team Cool — gray, white, crisp finishes

Or are you happily mixing both?

Wood, natural fibres and eco-friendly finishes can look perfect — but where you use them matters.

In Florida, good design means balancing the look you love with materials that suit the room and climate.

𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦. 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. ✨

A narrow band of starburst tile became the starting point for the whole room.

We took it floor-to-ceiling, added a curved floating marble vanity and finished the space with sculptural pendants.

Same room. Completely different impact.

Some give you the plan. Some focus on furnishings and styling. Others stay involved from planning through installation.

The important part? Know what’s included before you hire.

At Stones Design, we make that clear from the beginning.

Maybe you need help making a few confident selections. Or maybe you want a designer involved throughout the whole interior design process.

Those are very different levels of service — and they can be priced differently too.

Before focusing on the fee, start with the amount of design support you actually need.

Sun, humidity and indoor-outdoor traffic can all affect fabrics, flooring and finishes.

That’s why at Stones Design, we consider how the room will actually live before choosing what goes into it.
