Snazzy Little Things

Snazzy Little Things is a phrase my grandpa used to say during his antiquing adventures. Modern classic interiors + restyled vintage decor.

Here I share a daily dose of simple, pretty vintage-inspired decorating inspiration. Your daily dose of simple, pretty vintage-inspired handmade goods and decorating inspiration.

Quite a change from 8 years ago. We installed new floors, updated the paint, modernized the mantel and purchased SO many new furniture pieces from Wayfair.

Still some big changes ahead, with the kitchen all finished I feel like we can give this space the attention it deserves.

Faux junipers are a great, maintenance-free option for your landscape. Summer heat killed this flowerbed. These beauties even fooled our neighbor—they look so real. 🪴 Link: https://creatorlink.shop/4y98GXN

My favorite vintage-inspired kitchen items, all found on Amazon https://amzlink.to/az0bfEu2gYPuh -these are items we use almost every day.

One of my favorite things to collect is old breadboards and cutting boards. The pretty board makes a terrific gift 🎁

If you ever want to try a paint color, a decor piece, or any link I share, I’ve rebuilt our website so everything is shoppable—including items I actually use and love. Old school blogger here tiptoeing back onto the internet after a long hiatus. I’ve missed all of you! 👋🏼 If there is still a space for a real-life family posting content about home improvement, thrifting, furniture makeovers, decorating, travel and an occasional cute outfit, give us a like!

We’re still here! https://www.snazzylittlethings.com/

With that said, sharing this photo of our front yard tree — which will be cut down completely thanks to the recent storms. At least it isn’t flooding for which I’m thankful but we’ve experienced a fair amount of problems thanks to the constant rain.

I haven’t been active since influencer culture took over the internet, but I’m ready to jump back in to have some fun + talk about the stuff of life and anything snazzy.

Progress Over Perfection:
Don't ever compare your "Stage 1" remodel to someone else's "Stage 10".

When we first moved into our house in 2018, our kitchen was my least favorite room in the house. I posted about our $100 "remodel" which was simply painting our cabinets. That post went viral, and ended up featured in magazines.

As exciting as that was, I remember being embarrassed at the time, because I didn't want anyone to think that's where it ended. We had bigger plans for our kitchen, and while this remodel is no longer $100, we are proud of the progress we've made, one little investment at a time.

Come and see what $100 can do --> https://www.snazzylittlethings.com/budget-kitchen-remodel-cabinet-paint/

If you only have a $100 to spend, just start! Every tiny step you take will help you love your space jsut a little bit more.
